Microsoft is hosting a Livestream of its next-generation Windows event, where the new Windows operating system is expected to be unveiled. The following Windows update will be the successor to Windows 10, which was released in 2015. According to a recently leaked ISO, Windows 11 will feature an entirely new interface and animation effects. There will be an improved Start menu that will appear by default in the bottom center of the screen. Windows 11 will also be available as a free upgrade to Windows 10.

What to expect
Microsoft has already announced Windows of the next generation as part of a special event on 24 June, which we know a bit about Windows 11 while the company remains silent. The build that leaked a few days ago, which many believe is an early version of the next operating system, reveals many things about how Microsoft is planning to modernize its decadal desktop system.
The talking point at today's event could be great visual changes. The Windows 11 codename, Sun Valley, will feature a newly designed Start Menu, a central taskbar, an updated Files app, and a series of minor user interface changes. These changes were previously supposed to come on Windows 10X at the user interface level. However, Windows 10X cancelation means that Microsoft brings these components to the main operating system.
We also expect Microsoft to revamp the Windows Store, apart from Windows 11's new user interface. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella teased "significant updates" for Windows last month during his Build Developer Conference which will focus on providing developers and creators with an economic opportunity.
"We will give every Windows developer more opportunity today and welcome every developer who seeks the most innovative, new, and open platform to build, deliver and monetize applications," said Nadella. This means that an update to Windows Store could be included in Windows 11.
